New 7 Wonders of the World 2011


1.      AMAZON RAIN FOREST

Amazon rain forest is a forest in the Amazon, South America. This region, also called Amazonia or the Amazon Basin, covering an area of ​​seven million square kilometers, although their forests covering 5.5 million square kilometers, located in nine countries: Brazil (with 60 percent of the forest), Colombia, Peru, Venezuela, Ecuador, Bolivia , Guyana, Suriname and French Guiana. It is home to indigenous peoples, including Urarina in Peru.

2.      HALONG BAY IN VIETNAM
Halong Bay is the most famous natural tourist attraction in Vietnam. Located in the north and bordered by the waters of China. Halong Bay has the meaning "bay where the dragon descent". According to legend, when the Vietnam war with China the dragon family descended to earth to help the people of Vietnam.


3.      IGUAZU WATERFALLS IN BRAZIL
Iguazu Waterfalls is the name of a waterfall that is located in the Iguazu River on the border of the state of Paraná in Brazil and Misiones province in Argentina. The falls divide the river into the top and bottom.






4.      JEJU ISLAND IN KOREA SELATAN
Jeju Island is the largest and most famous island among other islands in Korea 3000. Jeju Island or can be called also Jejudo this is the most famous tourist island in Korea. Even the Korean island of Jeju often refer to as its Korean island of Bali (Bali island wah was very famous in Korea).

A subtropical island that stands with various legends and scenery is amazing. From the famous places in Jeju, one that we can see is the top of the mountain Hallasan (1950m), highest mountain in Korea is surrounded by sea water direndami blooming beautiful flowering plants.

5.      KOMODO ISLAND IN INDONESIA
Komodo Island is an island located in the Nusa Tenggara islands. Komodo Island is known as a habitat for native animals dragons. The island is also the Komodo National Park which is managed by the Central Government. Komodo Island in the eastern island of Sumbawa, separated by Sape Strait.

Administratively, this island including the District of Komodo, West Manggarai regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia. Komodo Island is the most western tip of East Nusa Tenggara province, bordering the province of West Nusa Tenggara.

On the island of Komodo, Komodo animals live and breed well. Until August 2009, on this island there are about 1,300 Komodo dragons tail. Coupled with the other islands, such as Island and Rinca and Gili Motang, their numbers totaled about 2500 tails. There are also approximately 100 individuals dragons in Wae Wuul Nature Reserve on the mainland island of Flores, but not including the Komodo National Park.

Besides Komodo, this island also store a variety of exotic flora that Sepang wood by local people used as a medicinal and dye clothing, nitak tree Sterculia oblongata in this or believe to be useful as medicines and seeds are tasty and delicious like peas.


6.      PUERTO PRINCESA IN FILIPHINA
Puerto Princesa Underground River National Park, Philippines.
Located about 50 km north of Puerto Princesa in Palawan island, which in turn is only an hour long flight from Manila, this UNESCO World Heritage Natural nest sites of biodiversity. Moreover, this is one of 28 finalists for the "New Seven Wonders of Nature" competition.







 7.      TABLE MOUNTAIN IN SOUTH AFRICA

Table Mountain is a mountain on the flat side of Cape Town in South Africa. Table Mountain is an important tourist attraction, with many visitors using the cableway to rise to the top. Mount is part of the Table Mountain National Park.
